HELM: Historic Environment Local Management
The English Heritage HELM (link broken) web site provides historic environment guidance and information for those involved in managing and conserving the historic environment. A guidance library provides links to a range of guidance documents produced by local authorities and English Heritage (many in partnership with ALGAO), aimed at providing both a wide range of information on management of the historic environment and a valuable resource of good practice. Case studies from across England to demonstrate the benefits of good decision making in the historic environment.
